Ms. Horton is a certified professional coder (CPC) and a certified cardiology coder (CCC) with credentials from the American Academy of Professional Coders (AAPC). She also holds a certificate as an approved ICD-10-CM and ICD-10-PCS trainer through the American Health Information Management Association (AHIMA). Ms. Horton has extensive auditing and coding experience to include work in the specialty areas of Cardiology, Cardiothoracic Surgery, Orthopedics, General Surgery, and Primary Care.
